Who is this Jojo person, and what are they doing with that pen?
Jojo is the pseudonym of Jordon Jones, a professional technical writer living in Ĺtautahi, Aotearoa (Christchurch, New Zealand). Over the years, Jordon has acquired both a Diploma of Proofreading and Editing (2015) and a Master of Writing (2022), along with an ever-increasing number of years of experience in a technical writing role with a heavy emphasis on editing tasks (since 2016).
The aim of Jojo's Red Pen is to provide editing assistance of varying degrees for a wide range of projects, including academic papers, reports, web content, books, and creative fiction. Please note that due to limited capacity from regular employment and other commitments, Jojo may not be able to take on especially large or urgent jobs; see the capacity indicator above for an up-to-date assessment.
If your project is not yet ready for editing, or if capacity doesn't currently allow for it, you can fill the time and learn a few new things by reading Jojo's Grammar Talk posts on Substack.
